Webster is a community that places such high value on its pristine environment that the town purchased 1,023 acres of land which will be used for hiking trails and other recreational activities for current and future generations. Webster also offers numerous parks throughout the town and village, including Monroe County's Webster Park with its breathtaking views of Lake Ontario. Also unique to the region is the Webster Arboretum in Kent Park, which has an incredible variety of plants, flowers, shrubs and trees.

 There are numerous churches, representing a variety of religious denominations, located throughout the Town of Webster and several service clubs that have chapters within Webster and the surrounding areas.

The proximity of State Route 104 to Webster allows motorists the convenience of being able to travel to and from downtown Rochester, or the Greater Rochester International Airport, within a time frame of 15 to 25 minutes.
